The first Theta A Province Day was held Feb. 3, 2007 and hosted by Kappa Upsilon Chapter at Kansas State University Student Union in Manhattan, KS. Our SAI Philanthropies, Inc. fundraiser for the day was “Penny Wars.” Each chapter was assigned a mason jar to store their money raised. Members could put money in their jar and other chapter’s jars at any time during the day. Coins counted as positive points and bills counted as negative points. The winning chapter was Topeka Alumnae Chapter. They were awarded a small stuffed dog appropriately named “Rosie.” Rosie will return as a province day traveling trophy. The Penny Wars raised our spirits and raised $102.11 for SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Tempo!  Summer 2007
