The composer writes: “Most of my works are professional level, and programmatic or allegorical regarding Judeo-Christian subjects. Over 80 titles have now been uploaded to the free NACUSA searchable database at www.music-usa.org/nacusa.”
PREMIERES
Breathless - Joel’s Fast was introduced by the Ukrainian String Quartet April 19, 2008, on the opening concert of the Musical Premiers of the Season Festival, Hall of the Composer’s Union, Kiev, Ukraine. The commissioned work House of Jatamansi, a three-part fantasy for flute and organ, was given its premiere September 30 by Due Solisti, Jakob’s Ladder Church, Prague, The Czech Republic. Arcangelo Red, rhapsody for solo violin, was first heard in a January 18, 2009, performance by Aurélien Pétillot, Texas.
PERFORMANCES
Pianist C. Oldfather performed Blue Graves Rising for a June 5, 2008, concert hosted by the Long Island Composer’s Alliance, Hewlett, NY. Between October 4 and November 1, the Chelsea Art Museum, New Project Media Room hosted an installation, listening station, and film (with companion concert series) as part of the “Notations 21” project, which included Anchored in Perath: an apocalypse (graphic score for solo organ).
RECORDINGS
60x60 2006/2007, a double CD release by Vox Novus (VN-002, New York) includes the work Lake House Letter.
